In one of those serendipitous moments where typos seem very appropriate, I just pasted the text "I am not yet confident of success" into an error message assignment in my code. Turns out I hadn't yet copied the real error message and I had a leftover passage from an email in my cut-and-paste buffer.
Well, I thought it was funny....
