I love Best Years of our Lives!
It was fantastic! I'm so used to thinking of WWII veterans as absolute heroes, that it was odd to think that they might have met with any sort of resistance on their return.
Movie Nights continued with The Lion in Winter on Thursday. Katharine Hepburn was fabulously conniving, Peter O'Toole was regal in an I-really-believe-I-am-chosen-for-this way that was completely compelling, and I didn't figure out that King Philip was Timothy Dalton til the credits rolled.
I am addicted to TCM.
